AHCII Institute is the author of the idea and originator of entry procedures of the Arabian horse on the UNESCO List of World Heritage
AHCII is the author of the idea and originator of the procedures to enter the Polish Arabian horse studs in Michałów, Białka and Janów on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Below we present a part of the rich documentation of our efforts to initiate the procedures, which we took up in February 2016 following our first open letter to the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The links to both the open letters, which for the first time presented our proposals to enter the studs on the UNESCO list, are on the right hand side of the portal.
Below are examples of the intensive activities which we have so far undertaken in this respect.

Re: proposal to enter the Arabian Horse Studs in Janów Podlaski, Michałów and Białka on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
In response to your letter of 2 September 2016 addressed to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Mrs Beata Szydło, regarding commencement of the procedure to include the state Arabian horse breeding studs in Janów, Michałów and Białka, with their historical stables, on the UNESCO World Heritage List please be informed that in accordance with the proposal of the Director of the Department of Protection of Historical Monuments of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage outlined in his letter of 15 March 2016, /(DOZ/934/16, DOZ-6511.6.2016.MFW), the subject will be addressed at the next meeting of the World Cultural Heritage Committee in Poland, an advisory body of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, which is due to take place this year.
Nonetheless it is to be noted that an appropriate presentation of the proposal and adoption by the Committee of a resolution in this matter is only possible on the basis of an application (available on the NID website: http://www.nid.pl/pl/Dla_wlascicieli_i_zarzadcow/opieka-nad-zabytkamii/miejsca-swiatowego-dziedzictwa/procedury/) filed by the Administrator(s) with the National Heritage Institute. The complete procedure of entry on the UNESCO World Heritage List, describing the successive stages in the long and complicated nomination procedure, has been accepted by the General Historical Monument Conserver in the beginning of 2016 and is available on the NID website: http://www.nid.pl/pl/Dla_wlascicieli_i_zarzadcow/opieka-nad-zabytkamii/miejsca-swiatowego-dziedzictwa/procedury/NID%20procedura.pdf
At the same time please be advised that the UNESCO World Heritage list, which is a direct consequence of the provisions of the 1972 Convention on the Protection of World Cultural and Natural Heritage, applies to and comprises the material manifestations of human heritage characterized by unique values on a global scale, so called exceptional universal values, which must be demonstrated among others by means of a comparative analysis as well as fulfill the condition of integrity and authenticity in the material sphere….
